Iv always worked in bigger companies and we did secret santa, meal out paid for but this year I have not long started working for a very small firm and most people are contractors. I’m not going to the arranged ‘Christmas so’ due to childcare which is fine, it’s an outing that I’m not fussed on missing so that’s ok. Do you get your boss anything?! We work quite closely but I don’t know if that’s a bit odd??
