I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks at the end if August. I didn't do the test 2 weeks later as it was all pretty conclusive. After my next period I then went back on the pill. I ran out about a week ago picked some more pills up yesterday. I didn't get a breakthrough bleed this week as I thought I would and have done a test tonight just in case. Anyway, it's an extremely extremely faint positive. It seems unlikely I would or could be pregnant so my question is how long the preg hormone can stay in system after a miscarriage? I will do another test tomorrow.
For full disclosure I missed a few pills over the course of the last couple of months so I guess technically it's possible I could have released an egg but seems unlikely. I also had some random bleeding throughout the last couple of months, and we have not had regular sex so it's extremely unlikely on that front too.
