Does anyone know if things you post of Marketplace show up on your timeline?

I've got some stuff to sell, due to house move, but I'd rather not have the whole of my Facebook k owing my business!

My mates stuff was showing last week

I think it must- we tried to sell something for the first time on there, and then had a text off MIL 'I bought you that- why are you selling it?' Blush

I've done it. For information, there's a filter where you can not have it showing on your timeline!

And also for information, I was selling a freezer. It was sold and collected within the hour!ShockGrin

It seems to depend whether you post it on Marketplace directly, or in a selling group. If you post it in a selling group which is public, then it definitely shows up on your timeline. I see people selling stuff all the time and they are not groups I'm in as nowhere near me.

You've been very lucky! In our area you just get time wasters or people that want everything for free. I've given up on it.

The be fair, the first offer I got, wanted to knock £20 off and could I deliver to a place 30 miles from here!Hmm

Someone coming for something in a minute and then I'm emptying the shed, so all the tools will go on there too I think!
