Help needed: calling French residents - train strike next week/week after

Can anyone give me any insider knowledge? OH and I are due to go to Strasbourg by Eurostar/SNCF on Monday 9th December - returning 12th. We will miss the general strike on 5th, and Eurostar have so far said there will be some cancellations between then and the 8th, but nothing further yet. How likely is it our onward journey from Paris to Strasbourg on 9th and return from Strasbourg to Lille on 12th be affected? Can anyone point me in the direction of a useful Enlish language website for French internal train travel? The SNCF site seems to have no information about it at all.

it can all be fine but also awful. eurostar is quite good communicating any issues.
