Just how can you ‘give’ it? DM wants to give DS a weekend break for a present.

She’s v generous, hates giving ‘stuff’ and also has a “doesn’t see why should leave it for the tax man” approach.

I’ve been asked to figure it out and am feeling a bit lost. Can you get vouchers? I don’t want to just book it (before she’s given him n his gf tickets to an event which is easy but also not a surprise) and she doesn’t just want to give money

Any suggestions would be v gratefully received

I bought what look likes plane tickets via 'Not on the high street' and you can personalise them to suit the recipient and where you're taking them.
If you just type it on their website Smile

You might also want to look at Bilbao. Went there for five days and it was fantastic. Can also go to San Sebastian which is nearby.

I'd steer away from vouchers to be honest. Several travel agents etc have gone bust recently and that causes vouchers to turn into useless pieces of paper.

A guidebook with a cheque inside for the ballpark amount, rounded up a bit as they can always spend the change on drinks etc while they are there is the best way to do it.

What about one of those scratch card reveal things? I got one for my daughter to ‘give’ event tickets to her. It said something along the lines of ‘scratch to reveal your gift’ and underneath it told her where she was going. I’m sure I got it on eBay!
