Speaker type thing that just does music..?

I want a speaker thing that I can ask to play my favourite songs.

I don’t want an Alexa, I want it to listen to me and play the music I request.

Does such a thing exist?

I have a sound core mini that I love. I don't trust Alexa!

We have a Bose sound link which we love.

I've got the Bose sound link thing as well. But it's just a Bluetooth speaker, it's not voice reactive.

Another vote for Bose - I now have two the soundlink and revolve. Awesome sound and added bonus it’s not always listening/doing the kids homework etc. So long as it’s turned (one button on the way past) on I tell my phone ‘Siri, play virgin radio’ or whatever and it seems to work.
