Failed theory test - again!

Today I failed my theory test for the 4th time, the 3rd time I’ve failed by one point BlushSad and I’m feeling pretty gutted to be honest, I have spent hours revising and doing mock questions. Hazard was fine! It was on the quiz, new test booked for the 21st December

Please share your stories of how you failed 10 times to then pass your practical first time to make me feel better Grin

Also I really feel there should be an option for automatic and manual cars!

Have you downloaded the practice app? I found that really helpful for learning the answers to the test.

Yeah I have the app, that was really helpful and I’ve read the Highway Code and made notes but for some reason a pass is alluding me! The practical side I’m reasonably good at

Read the question carefully. Mouth them to yourself. I used to help my friend at college as she struggled with tests. Most common problem was that she skimmed. Read the first bit then just answered what she thought it said. If I made her go back and read the whole question aloud, she did much better. Didn't even realise she was doing it. It's like that thing you can do where you muddle up the letters in a word but can still read it as long as the first and last letters were right. Her brain was just giving it a quick glance and filling in the blanks with the most likely so she would read it as which of these signs is advisory when what it actually said was which of these signs is not advisory. She only registered the words "signs. Advisory. Which one?"
