Hi I’m a recent 1st time Dad my daughter is 5 days old but failed a hearing test we have to go back again for another one she doesn’t seem to react to any loud noise is it me or does she have a problem?

Well obviously not just you if she failed the test, but that doesn't necessarily mean a hearing loss, for example, some babies have a lot of water in their ears post birth which is why they retest a few weeks later. Try not to torture yourself with banging things and trying to get a reaction. My dd was born Deaf and did react to some things as she felt a vibration. Wait for the next lot of tests and see what they say then. I remember how awful this wait was for the next appointment but enjoy your new baby and try not to worry too much, hard as it is.
