Just found DD (age 3) hidden behind her toy kitchen eating a contraband chocolate lolly from my lovingly prepared Christmas calendar. She knew very very well what she was up to but promptly (and tactically) cried when questioned. Bloody Christmas Grin

I went up in the loft earlier to get our advent calendars and there's no sign of them! No idea where they are. I have the contents but at this rate I'm going to have to leave them in the middle of the floor every day.

Save yourself a job and just put them in the middle of the floor. If it's like our house they will be pillaged anyway!
If anyone has seen a calendar with combination locks for each door please do send me the link

I only fill mine up one day at a time, done the night before once dc are in bed. The temptation is too great otherwise!

If you have standard size chocolate ones, you could buy a cat treats one and swap the inserts. That'll learn them.
