What would you have for dinner if you were me?

Yes I'm aware it's not yet 10am Grin

DH is out tonight so it's just me (no DC). I've been good all week so quite fancy something treat-y. However, we're off out for dinner tomorrow night so I don't really want to spend more money ordering something in.

Usually on a solo Friday night I'd either do myself a homemade pizza or fling a supermarket one in the oven (and have a glass of wine) but we're going to an Italian tomorrow night so I'd rather not double up!

Will be going home past a big supermarket so figured I'd pick something up en route home.

What would you plan for dinner if you were in my shoes this evening?

Salmon rice and peas, quick and tasty if you can’t be bothered to put yourself out too much

Haha! I just like having meals in my freezer that are just for me (my kids/partner wouldn’t eat a veggie curry if it paid them!) 🤣

@Dollywilde what did you have in the end?

Dollywilde · 30/11/2019 07:21

Haha, I knew I should have taken an Instagram style snap for this thread! I had:

Warm crunchy bread
Camembert (not the whole piece but hey, there’s still lunch today...)
Salad, olives, ready to eat prawns
All washed down with a lovely Pinot Grigio

This thread was excellent inspiration! And it was a world away from reheated casserole Grin
