Missing Amazon parcel - tracker says has been delivered

According to the tracking, my parcel was delivered by Royal Mail at 10:06am on 27th (Wed)

Its says delivered to 'safe place' which is a bit vague but I've searched all obvious (and non obvious!) places where a parcel could be hidden and haven't it

Just wondering if the tracker is sometimes in inaccurate so worth leaving a few days first or whether I should report it to Royal Mail and/or Amazon?

Giveherhell, my train of thought.

I am reluctant to tell them, as they might withdraw the refund, fair enough, but also remove the credit of £4 which I think I deserve for having to mess about phoning them when we were trying to have a fairly early night.

I had an amazon parcel semi delivered, it said put in letter box and signed by the letter box. When checking it was outside. I called the customer care about it and said how did my letter box sign for the item and I was in why did they not buzz my door instead of leaving outside to be stolen. Amazon could not give good answers. I think I may have the most clever letter box in the world, it has a name and can sign.

Your contract is with Amazon. You should let them know so that they can chase RM.
