I’m amused so I’m sharing....

Just finished bedtime with my just turned seven Year old DD. We had a story and cwtches in bed and I said goodnight and went to leave. She said, Oh wait Mummy, I’ve named my new doll ( she had two our generation dolls for her recent birthday) , meet farty pants, ( said in a delighted tone). Bearing in mind I’ve been trying to limit her toilet humour, I attempted to keep a straight face and said, very nice. Goodnight darling.

Whereupon she sweetly said - night night Mummy. And (cue producing both dolls) night night from Farty Pants and Burp.

I had to leave the room and have been giggling ever since.

Love it. It's that combination of sweetness and then poo humour isn't it? I remember an angelic-faced DD once tucked up in her bed, who lifted up her duvet and said "you look tired mummy, come and join me in the Realm Of Comfort...and of farts" Grin
