Puppy name inspiration, please?

We are picking this little chap up next weekend. Despite his colour, he is a golden retriever/poodle cross. He's bold and chunky.
DH wants to call him Bernard but DD and I aren't convinced but can offer no compelling alternative at the moment.

Puppy name inspiration, please?

Yes, he's definitely going to be 'Diggers' as a nickname. And to be fair, he'll probably be quite keen on digging, so your garden's about to take a serious turn for the worse Grin

He's definitely Digby now. We've told the breeder and she's started using it. (But love Basil, might save that for another time!).

His full kennel name will obviously be Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar.

And luckily, our garden is a rather unkempt, well, field, so no flower beds to worry about. Our previous dog never went anywhere near the stream, wondering what Digby will make of it......
