Friend and her b/f are puppy sitting. They had sex last night and woke up this morning to an excitable puppy who bounded in their room and ate the used condom. They have 24 hours before handing the puppy back. What can they do to help the puppy pass said condom safely?

I don't think this is the thread title I'd come up with if I was posting seriously, as opposed to trying to be as goady as possible...

So what is your 'colleague' going to do KeepHimJolene?

By the way, how can she make the dog sick if she's at work? 🤔

I just hope that if it’s true, someone has the decency to get the dog to the vet.

I've been here since MNs inception I swear this is not a goady post. It was just so random and absurd that I posted on MN. Colleague was not in work she was calling me asking for assistance. Crisis over. Puppy has been sick and threw up the condom.

Oh how wonderful that the puppy has vomited back the condom. Anyone puppy sitting, that allows a young dog to ingest toxic substances deserves to be prosecuted for animal cruelty.

Well I hope you’re going to tell her to never look after another dog again.

Next time maybe 'Help, puppy swallowed condom' or 'Do I need to make puppy sick?' might be better titles to get more help quickly instead of your random one, that I still don't get

If that was my dog he'd have shredded it. I can't imagine a puppy eating a condom whole

The post is genuine. They spoke to a vet who advised how to make puppy sick. Too random to be a lie. Are all the MN trolls on my post? Unbelievably rude responses from @Aposterhasnoname and @PickwickThePlockingDodo who clearly don't believe me.

My bad, but, yeah, I struggled to believe someone would be so callous as to post a “haha isn’t this embarrassing” thread complete with a hook line title when they were worried about a puppy potentially being harmed.

Are they not going to have the puppy checked then OP? Or tell the owner? What exactly did this 'vet' advise? Because I've just asked DF (who is one) and he says he would never advise this and would have the pup brought in to sort the issue medically. What a couple of arseholes.

They could have killed the poor thing and all they sound like they care about is getting away with not having to admit they had sex and used a condom and were too grim to dispose of it properly. Unless they are teenagers I can't see what about that is so embarrassing you'd risk the health of someones beloved pet
