I found a drivers licence recently. I messaged a guy on FB who looked very similar, same age and lived In the area. Asked if he had lost his licence and said I could send a pic. All he sent was a thumbs up. I sent a pic back and asked if it was his. Nothing for nearly a week. Then a load of Chinese writing. He’s clearly not Chinese and neither am I. I just told him he’d find it In the bin (it’s in my knicker drawer) and have blocked him. I felt I was doing a nice thing and it feels like a slap in the face. Also, should I just post it to the dvla? (Or put in the bin as planned??!!)

Just send to DVLA and quit being a drama llama. Nothing soft about keeping hold of an official document unnecessarily.

I can’t stand this new trend of people finding cards and posting pics on Facebook or WhatsApping.
Some people have real reasons to remain private.
You find a bank card? Post it or take it to the bank or ring the number at the back.
Find a drivers license? Send it to DVLA.

@Pinkblueberry none taken at all! my DSD has a shit fake licence! I only meant that a lot of farms don't have a road name

Why search someone then block them?

Maybe it's actually a stunt for a new TV show where they leave loads of licences around and then fill a programme with the crazy things people have done to return them ? In which case the OP has an episode to themselves.
