Hi wondering if anyone else ever had this. I put a tampon in today and now I cant feel it/find it. I'm not sure if it's fallen out going to the loo or not, surly I would have noticed. Any ideas to help me?

You need to get your fingers right in and have a good feel around. There’s nothing elegant about this I’m afraid. Squat down low with your knees apart and try to feel all the way around your cervix.

If you can’t find anything there’s a good chance it’s fallen out or you removed it and forgot. But to be on the safe side, see if you can go to a sexual health clinic or walk in centre so they can have a proper look with a speculum.

I’ve never heard of a tampon falling out .Try to relax . Have a little feel around if you can .
If you’re still not sure you need a visit to a Practice Nurse at your surgery . They will be able to help you.

It probably fell out when you were having a wee and you didn't notice. It's happened to me before. If you squat and bear down and insert your finger you will definitely feel It If It is there.

It's actually more common than a lot of women think. I work in an urgent care centre, and often have women with lost tampons. I estimate that 75% of the time there is no tampon when I look with a speculum. I have no idea where they go...

I definitely can't feel anything. Might need to ask my husband to help. I've got a wedding tomorrow really don't want to be messing around in the morning. My doctors is also by email only to get an appointment.
