Dealing with loneliness

ceilihouse · 27/11/2019 21:33

Dh and I work in high stress jobs, he is self employed,

He has to work away Monday to Friday, he comes home 1 night a week to swop over with me as I have to work off site, this is all new too is, we were used to Monday to Friday 9-5,

We miss each other desperately, kids miss him, the loneliness is awful in the evenings as the dc are at their own things, sports, gaming etc!

We are just so used to being together, chatting, even sitting in silence! I miss him so much in bed, just the comfort of him snoring beside me,

We have had shit few years, we fought to stay together, sorry for the moan ladies xx

Big hug!
Does calling him help at all?

SeaSidePebbles · 28/11/2019 08:19

You ok @ceilihouse?

ceilihouse · 28/11/2019 15:23

Sorry! Didn't realise someone replied!

Yeah I'm ok, he is home tomorrow! We text and call several times a day so no restrictions on contact, it's just the evenings are lonely!

How about skyping 24/7? Or as near as..

Not perfect - but not bad
