Only 59.
Always liked him and wondered why he wasn’t on our screens anymore.
He’s been busy working in Dubai.

Just read this, hadn't realised he was 59, even though that's no age. Sad news.

Just looked for a thread, only heard this late. Poor bloke he was what? 59?

Dowser · 28/11/2019 10:28

It appears when he was 19 he had a terrible accident in Amsterdam when he was hit by a vehicle and had to have major brain surgery.
He was warned to give up football as another severe blow to his head could kill him.
Allegedly he slipped a few days ago and that’s what caused his sudden demise.
It makes it all the more tragic doesn’t it?
He could’ve had another 40 years and said to a friend life couldn’t be any better.

My cousin is a carer and she’d just got back to work after a long time off following a hip operation . She’d only been back at work two months . She was mopping a residents floor and slipped and broke her arm, right where it meets the shoulder.

Now she’s off for another two months at least. Slippy surfaces really scare me. So easy for it all to end tragically.
His poor family must be reeling with shock.
