Hi, looking for some advice.
I have 2 DS with my ex.
A couple months back he got made redundant.
He has decided to start up his own business instead of get a job (his choice no problem with that)
Only thing is he is now only paying me less than half of what he paid me before.
He still hasn't registered this company. And has based what he will be giving me on his first month of trading.
He also buys and does up houses while living in them and has recently sold and brought another one to do up. He made 27 grand on the last sale.
He has told me that’s if i go to cms I will get less than what he is giving me now as they will take his first month so trading in to count and that is all. SO I’m s scared to approach them about this.
What makes me mad is he has been paying to do this new house up no problem even paying for all new windows and doors and new kitchen.
He will of had 2 holidays within months of each other. Amoung other things
My eldest (11) is questioning why we can’t do this or that and when I tell him dad hasn’t paid what he used to pay so i don’t have as Much money as we used too so I need to be careful . He says but daddy’s going on holiday and daddy’s asked us if we wanted to go to Disney or daddy’s just just brought season tickets
I understand his dad has the right t buy and go wherever he pleases but to tell me he can’t a afford to pay me probably is a slap in the face
Sorry think this turned into a rant. I just don’t know what to do about it.
