Why does the Renault Clio advert annoy me?

I can't put my finger on why it annoys me...is it the crappy version of Wonderwall (I hate the current craze for using breathy singers to cover songs),

Or that they're trying to be 'right on' by using a lesbian couple?

I agree I find it so annoying too. I found myself turning the tv over! I think it's a bit try hard tbh

I find it irritating because it's soo damn long and dramatic for a car advert. It's a fucking car, it doesn't need a long ass emotional advert

It seems to me like lazy advertising - hey, lets show we’re ticking all the boxes and rip off the story line to Fried Green Tomatoes (which I love).......
Whatever happened to the days of car adverts actually telling you stuff such as mpg, safety features, and other essential info you look at when buying a car?
