Are Clarins products 'sealed'?

I bought some Clarins,face cream off eBay, described as new and in original packaging (obviously wouldn't but it otherwise).

However, not only was it not in the box (ok) but there wasn't a plastic seal thing around the lid or a piece of foil when you take the lid off.

Should there be?

It's been a long time since I've purchased Clarins and can't really recall.

It's a traditional product in a white tube with red writing on

PS Reason for asking is that the tube doesn't feel full and product smells a bit stale, not very Clarins-y

And before requesting a refund for 'not as described' - ie not new / in original packaging - I thought I would check with Clarins users as to whether the products are normally sealed

Definitely are always sealed. Like a jar of horseradish sauce would be

Is it a glass jar? They normally have a plastic lid under the screw lid too

If you’re describing the flash cream yes it has a foil seal under the lid

Yeh they're always sealed and have foil when you remove the lid but not all of them are full in the packaging

I thought it would / should be sealed.

I won't dwell on the tube not being full, it's more that it's been tampered with / isn't sealed that concerns me

I mean Flash balm and yes it has silver foil seal under the lid
Flash cream is what yer granny uses in bathroom

Should have read seller's feedback better before purchasing as there is some similar negative feedback (though overall rating is still v v good)
