Furniture company.
Anybody used them? They have good trust pilot reviews but those are known to be a bit dubious.

Thinking of ordering something quite substantial.

Just checked their Facebook page and it tells me everything. They have almost 2000 followers but the photos and posts only get about 3 likes and NO comments. The reason for that is they delete the negative ones...or don't allow commenting at all as there are literally none. I work in social media...and reliable businesses always leave most comments up.

Their Instagram is the same.

I wouldn't.

Thank you- my gut instinct was telling me no. Their address is quite hard to find too- no showroom even in their home town.

They're probably imported from China....the "office" will be in someone's dining room.

I dug a bit more...apparently the furniture is made abroad from old boats... How's that oak then? And company's house lists not many assets. Yet their local newspaper reckon they made a million last year!

Yes but these are made form fishing boats.

Hey. Did anyone end up ordering anything from them? I placed an order with them yesterday. Spoke to somebody on the phone before I did go ahead and they seemed really nice and genuine. Will let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed!

Hi @Mums2kids did everything go ok with your order? As I placed an order for garden furniture last week and now feeling a bit worried? I did do some research before ordering looking through trust pilot they seemed like a real company.

We got a bookcase from them, really pleased with it. Very helpful as had to muck them about with delivery dates. Daughter also bought from them.

I made an order with madewithoak. before I even received my order I request to cancel and refund my money. They refused to refund my money. They stated that We can either refund you for your order less the failed delivery charge of £95 + VAT. Can you believe it?? I never hear of charge for the failed delivery.

I ordered a side table from Made with Oak. It was poorly finished. Quality of wood was good.

Sorry for the late reply. Not logged in for ages. Yes, furniture was delivered within a week and its beautiful. I even went back to them again this year for some garden furniture as they seemed much better priced than others. Again no complaints. Will probably be my go to place for furniture as I am in love with some of their stuff

Just read the old comments on here, I’ve bought a considerable number of items from this company which I have had no real complaints.

However we bought a wardrobe for our spare room 3 years ago, and I had noticed fine powder appearing on items I’d had put in it, I shrugged it off thinking it was just wear action from the drawers. Fast forward a couple of years, we have now discovered is actually riddled with woodworm. I paid over £700 for this you’d think the wood would be at least checked/ treated before manufacture.

Anyone purchasing items from here please be wary.
