Seem to read alot about women in their 30's dating 50-60 something men lately. No judgment, just an observation.

I'm in my 30s, been with my dp who is in his 50s for 5 years. I have a few friends in relationships with the same age gap. Not sure it's a recent trend.

True alot of couples are long standing but there seems to be an increase in references to age gaps lately.

There was 15.5 years between me and DH. We were together for 18 years

There's quite a big age gap between me and DH. There's quite a big age gap between DH's mum and his dad. There was quite a big age gap between DH's grandma and his granddad.

I'm not convinced it's a recent trend either.

It’s not a recent thing, men like younger women.
It’s didn’t notice it until I was in my late 40’s, now all I see is men with younger women.

I personally don't know anyone in my family or friends group that has an age gap of more than a couple of years. I am the only exception, but I am 10 years older than my dp rather than the other way around.

A 'trend'? No.

There were 14 years between my parents, they were together 49 years until my father's death. I don't think this is a new thing OP, you've just come across it more often in your own circle than you have before for some reason.

Maybe I've just become more aware. Maybe it's my age!
