Really worried

Health visitor advised me to give my 7 month old son as he is weaning. She didn't actually state how much to give him. I've only just learnt about water intoxication and worried that I've given it to him. He has had 5oz of water over the course of today. I won't be giving him anymore obviously. He seems fine at the moment he's currently sleeping. But I'm just really worried. Is that amount of water going to hurt him?

He'll be fine

I jsut let my baby drink what he wants, if he's thirsty he needs to drink, if not he'll stop.

Just make sure he has enough milk too and he will be fine

He's had 3 7 oz bottles so far today. The 4th one is optional as he's usually asleep by half 6 in the evening these days

3 bottles sounds too little at 7 months, you should not yet be dropping milk for solids.
