Freaking out, discovered a huge purply grey soft lump behind dds ear, it's beside her earring, she got her ears pierced in September...
As it's Sunday our nearest doctor in doesn't open until 11, please put my mind at rest. I'm assuming it's an infection & she'll be put on an antibiotic & the doctor will remove the piercing... She's not complaining & is is good form but I'm freaking out...

PurpleDaises if you put too much salt in the solution you make at home it's very drying. If you buy the ready mixed saline it won't have this affect. I know what saline is. Just offering some advice 🙂

Bathe it with a salt water solution or saline solution of you can get your hands on it, book doctors appointment they will give antibiotics. My DD had her ears pierced in June (needle not gun) and got infected, Dr gave an ointment and its cleared up after a few weeks

Its probably a tube, see a professional pierce face to face; but for a tube you have to squash it.

Thanks everyone for the replies. We took her to the doctors on Sunday morning & it's an infection. He put her on an antibiotic & also gave her cream to use 3 times a day... The colour is slightly changing, less purple but it's still huge & squidgy looking 🙈

Boil water with sea salt and either submerge love in or use cotton wool to soak
Do not touch it or sleep on that side
Get good quality tea tree oil and dab once a day with cotton bud

Going to Claires probably wasn’t the best idea
