Returning an item after already exchanging it

So I bought a pair of shoes the other day and when I got home and tried them on properly realised they were too big so exchanged today for a smaller size. Shop was packed and was getting fed up with shopping so quickly tried them on and took the smaller size. Got them home tried them on again and realised on one shoe the stitching has came away in a few places and can see a bit of glue. Not acceptable for the price. I want to just return them and get my money back but feeling very embarrassed to go in a 3rd time and they will see from receipt this is the 3rd time in 3 days. Anyone done this? Will I look like a crazy lady?

Just say you'd like a refund/exchange because of the quality of the product (and show them what you mean). It's unrelated to your previous exchanging frenzy Grin

Yes, absolutely fine.

Yep I did exactly the same with some boots a few months ago , the 1st pair were to small , the second pair had a big bunch in the inner sole.
As long as you still have your receipt it shouldn't be an issue

Don’t worry about it - the shop assistant will not care.
