Going back to work - teaching?

I use to be a teacher in my former life before children.... 7 years later and I'm back working as youngest now in nursery but I'm not in teaching and I'm seriously wondering whether I can go back to it part time. It's such a long time ago it would in some ways be like starting again but the holidays and pay would be better than I get now....anyone gone back into it after a huge gap? Any tips?

I went back after 5 years out. That was 7 years ago. In that time the curriculum totally changed (Scotland) I went back 3 days but have been FT for 4. The job at its core will not have changed. If you were a good teacher then, you will be again.
