Wearing a bra in bed

Mookie81 · 23/11/2019 09:45

Used to wear a bra in bed for years, but stopped a few months ago.
Should I or shouldn't I?
Will my boobs get saggy if I don't?! Grin

It's up to you but I have always worn a soft bra in bed

I have no idea if it reduces sagginess but I just feel uncomfortable if I don't

Davros · 23/11/2019 09:48

Never. Can't wait to get it off come 6pm!

BackOnceAgainWithABurnerEmail · 23/11/2019 09:49

It has never ever crossed my mind. How would it make your boobs saggy? I can’t think of anything more uncomfortable!

DisplayPurposesOnly · 23/11/2019 09:49

Never worn a bra in bed. No sagginess here!

bsc · 23/11/2019 09:50

Going to sleep in a bra? Sounds v uncomfortable to me.

Solongtoshort · 23/11/2019 09:50

I remember reading something that made me stop but l can’t remember what it was.

Tonz · 23/11/2019 09:51

I’ve never worn a bra in bed so uncomfortable and my boobs don’t sag in the slightest

bsc · 23/11/2019 09:51

Oh davros surely after wearing a little motorised metal cage a mere bra is nothing?

BuildBuildings · 23/11/2019 09:53

Jesus I'm surprised anyone would do this! I mean do your thing but sounds so uncomfortable. But I have to sleep naked so I'm probably the worst person to chip in!

LuluBellaBlue · 23/11/2019 09:53

Never worn a bra to bed, ouch!

CornedBeef451 · 23/11/2019 09:58

I always wear a soft bra to bed but I'm 34JJ so really not comfortable without one, they flop around too much.

mrbob · 23/11/2019 10:00

I wear a very soft non wired crop top type bra. Feel nicely contained but even if there is ANY evidence about breast cancer (I am not sure there is) this definitely won’t cause issues as it is barely tighter than a t shirt. I don’t like being all floppy around plus it means I can be in front of people in my PJs without feeling very exposed and saggy

supadupapupascupa · 23/11/2019 10:02

Always wear a bra in bed here. 38gg so they are incredibly uncomfortable loose, they get trapped and suffocate me, bra on = good night sleep. Don't really sag either tbh

fedup21 · 23/11/2019 10:03

I wear a Molke or a M+S bralette-I’m 34FF.

raspberryk · 23/11/2019 10:09

Only when I was breastfeeding did I wear a soft sleep bra to stop me leaking everywhere.

Allegorical · 23/11/2019 10:46

I like a soft bra, a vest with support or a really tight vest top works as well.

Thecomfortador · 23/11/2019 10:54

I just wear my normal bra in bed. I don't notice it.

AnyFucker · 23/11/2019 11:18

These are my faves for night wear here

SuperMeerkat · 23/11/2019 12:42

Why would you get saggy boobs? I always take mine off. I didn’t even know it was a ‘thing’ until being on MN.

Davros · 24/11/2019 22:20

bsc watch out or I will use my sucker to perform evil acts Tardis

SamBeckett · 24/11/2019 23:39

@Davros
Could you use your sucker to hold one boob at a time in place Grin

I do not wear a bra ( or anything else for that matter ) in bed but I can understand why bigger busted ladies may find it more comfy

Fatted · 24/11/2019 23:43

I'm not particularly large chested, but I find it much more comfortable to wear my bra in bed. My boobs actually hurt if left free to their own devices. I genuinely don't understand women who say they are uncomfortable. Being without is uncomfortable for me.

Davros · 25/11/2019 08:42

sambeckett a sucker can be useful but, come to think of it, I do t think Davros had one, he could command his hoardes though.
David Sedaris does a sketch/observation about women being desperate to get their bras off as soon as they can if they've been wearing them all day. Very funny. I'll see if I can find it

OddBoots · 25/11/2019 08:45

I am much more comfortable with a soft bra overnight, I don't think it makes a difference to sag though, just do whatever makes you comfortable.

Davros · 25/11/2019 08:49

This is funny and it includes some of the David Sedaris material:
