Informal visit nhs

I have a job interview for a role on a department in the NHS I'm really excited about and very keen to get. I have arranged and informal visit in two weeks time. I already work in the same hospital so that helps but I've never been for an informal visit before interview before.

Any one have any tips or guidance please? I'm more nervous about the visit than I am about the interview!

Use it as an opportunity to see if its the right thing for you. My experience is that staff tend not to have the time for these types of visits (although its always stated on the advert) and its more a tick box. People rarely actually arrange visits in my experience!

I think it definitely sends the right message that you're keen, also it's a bit more relaxed than an interview (well, it should be...) So the 'real you' can shine through. Use it as an opportunity to ask about the team, expectations for the role etc.

Thank you both.

Does anyone have any suggestions on they types of questions I could ask or ones I should avoid?

I'm not nervous about the interview but I'm definitely a bit stressed about this visit Blush
