Help! Any dentists here? Onlay...

I recently had a root canal for pulpitis in a cracked tooth. Endodontist recommended composite filling and onlay. I just had the (private grade, 400 quid) onlay fitted on Wednesday.
This evening it has come off! Typically, at 5:30 when dentist closed at 5....
No pain, but freaked out by weird tooth and a bit pissed off. I think the onlay may be slightly chipped where I bit it (was only eating a sandwich!)
Obv I will call dentist on Monday. My dentist in the practice only works Wed and Friday. Wibu to ask to be seen Monday, and to ask them to check the onlay and see if it is chipped, and if so replace with a new one of same grade free?

I would imagine that they'd see you and recement/remake it without charge. Don't worry!

Postitnot - thanks for answering -

Is the tooth ok til then? Can I eat on it or brush it?

It's been root treated so shouldn't cause pain. Yep, definitively brush it. It depends what's left with regards to eating. Can you see any pink bits? That's the root filling. If that's sealed over (usually with a white composite) you'll be ok.
