Pregnancy test reading help

Hello,

Please could someone help me with my questions? I took a first response test on 10/11. The test line was faint and control line was dark. Then I took alvita tests one on 12/11, the test line was visible but fainted than the control line. I took another one on 14/11 Same result, the test line may be a little darker but it could have been the lighting.

I was taking a lot during this time because I had some bleeding and it was during my period. (Detailed possible graphic information coming up) I used a liner and it was only ever just spotting or smears over 5-6 days.

I took a first response test again on 19/11 but the test line was really dark compared to the control line. And another on 20/11 with same results. Did I get some dud tests? What happened?

I hope someone will have answers as I’m feeling very anxious. This is the first time I’m ever going through this and it’s hard to find the right answers.

I have photos but there is no options to post them :( so I don’t know how to post them on here.

If you have a reply to my problem please do not use acronyms as I have a hard time deciphering them. I noticed they are a common language in this forum but I’m new here.

Thank you very much,
S

If you have 2 lines within the specified time period on the test instructions then you are pregnant.

Two lines, no matter how dark are positive. You may find the earlier tests were lighter in colour because your body was producing less of the hormone that indicates pregnancy. The level doubles every couple of days, so the test line gets darker.

You're pregnant OP, I hope this is the response you wanted!

As PP said, the line is getting darker because your body produces more of the hormone as the pregnancy progresses. A bit of spotting at the beginning is quite normal :)

As a healthy pregnancy progresses during the first trimester, HCG rises so the test line will naturally pull some dye from the control line making the test line stronger than the control line. Bleeding in early pregnancy can be normal, especially around the time of your period (implantation bleeding).

A faint test line is completely normal when you’re very early on.

If you got two lines and it's gradually getting darker then you're defiantly pregnant, that's if I've read your post correct? I hope this is the news you want!Smile
