Selling old shoes on eBay?

Hi everyone

I remember reading a thread on here aggggessss ago and can't find it now. It was about women selling their used shoes on eBay for weirdos with fetishes to buy

Apparently they made quite a lot and only put up pics of their feet in the shoes?!

I'm sooooo skint at the moment as had a few unexpected bills. I have money for essentials but need to start Christmas shopping ASAP

Anyone done this? Is it worth it? Do you have to code word it all to put it on eBay?

Thanks

I think the codeword is 'trashed'. Search trashed shoes on eBay and you'll get a good idea of how to market your, eh, goods Grin

Tbh though, if the weirdos fetishists want to find you then they will. I say this from experience as someone who has sold a number of obviously almost new shoes and still been on the receiving end of strange messages Hmm

Be prepared to have to send lots of photos of you wearing the offending articles 🙈 And make sure your toes are painted in the pics too, they seem to love that.

I’m totally following because I’m considering this too 😂 I think it was in the Ask me anything section.

i don't know the thread but there is a website here that talks about the same thing

I didn’t know there was a secret word but I’ve just to sell ordinary shoes on eBay before and had weirdos messaging asking me to send them photos of them being worn/in tights/coloured polish etc. Yuck. So they aren’t hard to find Grin
