Broadband packages

I have been with Virgin for 11 months on a broadband and landline package. Without informing me, they have doubled my monthly payment!

Is this normal?

I need to change now. Any recommendations welcome!

Ring Customer Retention first and see what they can do. Otherwise it's Sky/BT.

My virgin has always increased (always in Nov) every year but hasn't doubled each time. However, the cost is twice as much as it was when I joined 6 years ago. This is for broadband only - no phone/tv packages.

There are quite a few providers. Run a search on broadbandchoices or similar comparison sites. Price up what you need and then tell Virgin to match it. If they won't, leave.
