Hi there. So have ended my relationship after 16 years, an emotionally abuse one. Unfortunately we are still living under the same roof right now until we can make plans for house to be sold. It may be a silly question but I just had it in my head that if I needed to buy again on my own I would be a first time buyer and hence have option of co-ownership or lower deposit until someone told me that because I have had a mortgage with my ex partner and technically still had a mortgage this isnt the case? Even as I write this that makes sense 🙈 that right?
