Breast Reduction UK

Hello. So I wanted to ask if any of you ladies have had a breast reduction through the NHS before? I haven't spoken to my doctor about this yet because I have always been scared to and thought they'd just shut me down. But my breasts have always been large. Finding bra's that fit and support my breasts has been such a struggle. Before I fell pregnant with my first I was a 34 FF. I dreaded to think how big they'd get during pregnancy and then breastfeeding. Well, I was right to be worried, because I'm now a size 40 GG/HH and they have been a nightmare. I have so much back and shoulder pain now and I cant find any bra's which fit and support them properly. If I wear a sports bra it just kills me because of the weight on my shoulders. Also, breastfeeding hasn't been very enjoyable for me either and that breaks my heart. When my son was a babe I couldn't ever feed him comfortably in public even with a nursing pillow because my breasts drooped so low down and I had to try and hold my son and also hold my breast just so I could direct it to his mouth. My son is almost 2 now but still breastfeeding, but as soon as he has weaned and I have lost some more weight I'm going to see the doctor. I have already lost a stone and I'm almost down to a 38 band size so I'm getting there. I know the weight gain hasn't helped but even at my smallest size my breasts have been large, so I know they won't reduce much in size after weaning and weight loss. But anyway, I'd love to maybe hear your experiences and thoughts.

I tried to get one on the NHS and it’s pots luck depending on where you live.
I’m 9 weeks post op having paid for it, gone from a hh to a c cup.
The is a really good Facebook group called breast reductions U.K. which has lots of helpful ladies on, and definitely worth looking at.
Good luck

I'm the same, usually a 28HH/30H and currently as big as 32KK whilst feeding but can only find K cup bras so get some double boob going on occasionally. The feeding thing is a bit better now DD has better head control but I'd kill for a bra that fits and maybe some underwire.

I'm considering a reduction once we are done having kids although I'm also terrified of the op as it's so much more complex than an enhancement but the quality of life afterwards is a big draw.
