How to help connect to people on FB?

I have 2 unconnected friends, Mary Smith and Anastazia Kororovska Leninsky. Grin. After two parallel conversations I was having, asking Mary questions regarding professional matters, from Ana, and then more or less cutting and pasting her replies; it struck me they should converse directly. Cut me out!

Both are keen, but really, Ana needs to ask Mary as Ana needs the answers.

It would be far easier to get Mary to search that huge, one off name, but maybe a bit rude of me to suggest?

But how will Ana find Mary among the billion Mary Smiths on FB?

Start a group chat with all 3 of you in then bow out?

Tell her to go onto your friends list and search for her name on there or if she searches for Mary it might come up anyway because they'll have a mutual friend

Thanks

Weird.
I would remove the unique name or ask for this post to be removed. So many could easily find your friend now.

Ask Mary to contact Ana?

@Bluelightdistrict I think we can assume that just as Mary Smith is a generic random name, so is Anastasia kororovska Leninski. No one is at risk of being outed!

Bluelightdistrict · 21/11/2019 22:36

@picklemepopcorn I've checked, it isn't.
It's not about OP being outed, it's about their privacy.
