DH is working away, my health condition has flared up today and I just feel meh. What is a good cheer-up movie or series to watch please? (I need a break from dystopia!)

I've just discovered Fleabag and binge-watched every episode in under 48 hours (impressive when also suffering flu and dealing with ridiculous children). It's so, so good I can't even tell you.

ConfusedAndStressed95 · 20/11/2019 17:36

Miranda always cheers me up. Hope you feel better soon Smile

GonnaBeMaayy · 20/11/2019 17:39

Lucifer is really good .But season1 -3 are on Amazon Prime and season 4 is on Netflix.
Rupaul's Drag Race is just trashy tv but good fun.

Good Omens on Amazon

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 20/11/2019 18:07

Watch Pick Of The Litter if you’d like something overwhelmingly feel good and lovely.

It’s a documentary following a litter of puppies bred to be guide dogs. It follows them through their training and what they do next.

It’s just lush!

Titsywoo · 20/11/2019 18:07

About Time is the loveliest film ever and is on Netflix

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 20/11/2019 18:09

Probably already watched but Gavin and Stacey.

Flouncysinatra · 20/11/2019 19:42

@NotExactlyHappyToHelp omg I watched that one evening when I was really fed up - best thing ever!

@Bluewavescrashing on sky - I really liked The Good Doctor - lovely show about a surgeon with autism. It’s funny, it’s heart warming, not too deep etc.

MissKittyFantastico84 · 20/11/2019 19:57

Ru Paul's Drag Race!!

Bluewavescrashing · 20/11/2019 20:22

Legomadx2 · 23/11/2019 15:32

Yes thank you to the PP who suggested Pick of the Litter - we are loving that!

Desperate for a labrador puppy now.

Violetroselily · 23/11/2019 15:40

Working Moms is very funny

midsomermurderess · 23/11/2019 16:01

If you download UK Tv Play you can watch The Heart Guy. Absolute tosh of an Australian series, but good fun. A few episodes of Death in Paradie is on there too and who doesn't enjoy that?

Bluewavescrashing · 23/11/2019 16:38

Bad moms at Christmas was good 🙂🎄

Another vote for Ghosts on iPlayer

Funny, sweet and lots of hot men (although they are dressed up)
