I was thinking, if dh had to go to hospital, off to the shops i would have to go, if necesssary, for pjs.
anyone else in the same boat?

Well, surely he has other suitable clothes, such as joggers or t-shirts he could wear?

FrederickSinclair · 20/11/2019 07:26

Only pj bottoms. I don't have any pyjamas though, when I ended up stuck in hospital for a week after having DS, I ended up wearing DH's pyjama bottoms/tshirts

Bubblysqueak · 20/11/2019 07:29

Nope my dh has nothing, except a dressing gown. He gets up and dressed straight away, even at the weekend weirdo and wears boxers to sleep in. If he has to.ger.up in the night with DC he wears his dressing gown.

RickOShay · 20/11/2019 07:31

Nope. Only a dressing gown.

IAcceptCookies · 20/11/2019 07:39

Nope. Wears nothing in bed. Or a t shirt if it's cold.

You've made me think I should purchase some emergency pyjamas, OP!

youngestisapsycho · 20/11/2019 07:44

Nope. Just pants in bed and then he wears T-shirt and track bottoms around the house. He doesn’t have a dressing gown.

Bluntness100 · 20/11/2019 07:44

No.

CakeNinja · 20/11/2019 07:45

Neither of us own a single pair of pyjamas or a dressing gown.

stucknoue · 20/11/2019 08:02

Never met a man with pj's, I don't have any hospital appropriate nightwear either. They have gowns for emergency admissions and the supermarket is open 24 hours a day (except Sundays)

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 20/11/2019 08:03

He has a pair of long pyjama bottoms & a couple of pairs of shorts. He’s like me, wears them after his bath/shower then takes them off for bed & just sticks them on again in the morning until he’s dressed. I remember my Dad had to go out & by pyjama bottoms when he was diagnosed with cancer the first time because he didn’t have anything suitable. They then lived in the wardrobe for a decade until he was diagnosed again.

bigbluebus · 20/11/2019 08:05

If you don't have PJs they'll give you a hospital gown - often more practical anyway if you have drips or have had surgery. But tshirt and joggers would be fine.

FoamingAtTheUterus · 20/11/2019 08:06

Mine lives in a ridiculous cookie monster onesie..........he would not be attending the hospital in that. I don't care how bleddy warm it is. Hmm

raspberryk · 20/11/2019 08:08

Not til he had to buy some for a school trip lol

PlaymobilPirate · 20/11/2019 08:09

Nope. Sleeps in boxers and gets dressed as soon as he's up. Wears Jean's around the house. Me and ds have tried to convince him that jarmies are way more comfy but he's not interested

yearinyearout · 20/11/2019 08:19

Mine has a pair of "poorly" pyjamas crumpled at the back of a drawer. They'd be in no for state for a hospital visit without washing though as they get worn so rarely.

SuperSimpleSnogs · 20/11/2019 08:37

Mine wears short pjs from primark and always has!
