Just that really. I'm indoors, thick socks on , decent slippers , central heating on etc, but still my feet are freezing. Any tips ?

Hi Victoria
I am new to Mumsnet in fact this is first time I am typing here.

However I am diabetic and so blood circulation is poor in body specially feet. Not that mean you are diabetic too. But worth having a talk with your GP. I can't comment on more due to I don't know what is your age, sex, life style etc.

Other then that getting active or busy in something with help sometime our mind just gets stuck on one thing. I have struggled from cold feet for a long time, sometime you feel cold feet due to sweat trust me those warm / thick socks suppose to warm but they don't keep air circulation and makes feet cold. Things I found helpful is change socks more regularly some decent cotton pairs will do doesn't have to be thick ones. Also wear footwear that is breathable so keep the foot air circulation and stey dry. If all fais you can buy medical socks the one they give you on hospitals before operations the long tight white ones. They are specially designed to improve blood circulation and really help your feet stay warm.

Appreciate if you let me know which tricks works for you. Thanks

It’s harder to get warm once cold so if they are toasty first thing get the socks on quick and don’t let them cool down.
Maybe try those hand warmers in your socks?

I get that if I am hungry or low on salts.

Well a few hours ago I took my thick socks off and after awhile my feet warmed up !
So thanks for the heads up about that.
