I think its more saying yes! Do you want to go x y or z yes! And being less planned in advance. That's my definition anyway.

Try www.calm.com They do mindful meditations.

I am interested in how to do this too. I do a lot of thinking about the future and what I will do then but really I'm in a position to do most things I want to do, now! Just have to put it into practice. I do like to watch my dog's approach to life, they only live in the moment.

I do it by 'simply' focusing on whatever I'm doing and not following my mind off into tangents. So if I'm walking up the stairs, that's all I'm doing, I'm not thinking about where I'm going, what I need to remember, who I need to talk to next, just me, going up the stairs, feeling my feet on the stairs. This, repeat, with as much other daily stuff as I can do. It's boring, I hate and resist it, and my mind is desperate to think about other stuff, but it's the only thing that grounds me. Because most of the other stuff I think about is pointless and out of my control.

I really take the time to notice my environment. So when I hug dc I really smell them, feel their heat, notice their soft skin etc. When I walk outside I look at the colours, inhale scents, etc
