I'm a bit stumped and hope you can help! I used to be fairly fit but have now put on a lot of weight and I'm really fed up. Husband works away a lot and it's impossible to go out for a run etc when he's not around to watch dc. So, I thought an exercise dvd might be good. Any recommendations? I like, but am rubbish at, dancing and anything that needs a lot of coordination. But I think as long as I'm moving and having fun that'll keep me motivated. I need some good fat burning!

I have no idea but I’m looking for the same so I hope you don’t mind me hopping on the thread for ideas (as hopping on the thread is as much exercise as I’m getting at the moment)

Subscribe to The Bodycoach on YouTube ( it's free!). Loads of 30min HIITs that you can squeeze in whenever possible.

YouTube is a genius idea. It'll help narrow down what I like or not at least.
Keep the ideas coming though!

Another for joe wicks. I have his dvd - it’s really quick so fits into busy life and around my young dc.

Another vote for Joe Wicks. Also check out Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube too

T25 is great. Quite intense, but each session is only 25 minutes

Jillian Michaels - 30 day shred

emsmum79 · 02/12/2019 19:51

I couldn't get Jillian Michaels without paying. I tried Joe Wicks 7 day work out- very good. Thanks so much for the recommendations. I just need to keep doing it now!

I love Bodyfit by Amy on YouTube. Also Fitness Blender and HASFit, they have absolutely loads of stuff. Popsugar for a decent variety of things as well.
