I was pregnant with our first with. I remember at that time throwing up into my bin while trying to hide pregnancy. Grin

I was at primary school but as it was a Saturday I was probably at home

Grandmi · 17/11/2019 23:55

I picked my daughter up from Pizza Express in Woking ..a very uneventful evening I believe 😀

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 17/11/2019 23:57

I was going to say at university then realised I was a decade out, I already had a job by 2001.
Ok, so it was a Saturday. Depending on how virtuous I had been the night before; I’d be either nursing a hangover or going for a run.

Probably some shopping in the afternoon and a night out at a local pub.

Having my kids birthday party in pizza express Woking. Someone posh turned up wearing a suit, looked like he was going out somewhere. Didn't stay long.

NeverTwerkNaked · 18/11/2019 00:01

Wait, let me just call my father and ask him to remind me where he wants me to say we were...

PixieDustt · 18/11/2019 00:02

Not sure would have been in year 3 so probably at school

AlunWynsKnee · 18/11/2019 00:06

I definitely wasn't in Tramp or Pizza Express in Woking. If only I had someone to remind me, I might know.
I was probably in a pub with DH.

Drabarni · 18/11/2019 00:09

We had recently moved 250 miles from East Anglia to the NW, was H.ed for a while as the LA couldn't find the kids places at any schools for a while.

Thatagain · 18/11/2019 00:09

I wasn't where I am now.

TheAnnoyingSatsuma · 18/11/2019 00:17

POAS and celebrating a PFP

mathanxiety · 18/11/2019 00:23

Just getting over morning sickness. Able to open the fridge without throwing up. Yay!

WotchaTalkinBoutWillis · 18/11/2019 00:29

I have no idea Grin
It was the year after we'd moved int together and bought a house, we were sans kids.
According to google it was a Saturday so I was probably in Reflex or equivalent getting pissed lol

soupforbrains · 18/11/2019 00:32

Strangely enough as it was a Saturday I probably was in Woking.

I was in upper 4th and we were allowed out on Saturday afternoons. For some reason most of my year used to go to Guildford, but we had to catch the train via Woking, so on the way back we usually ate dinner in Woking before catching the train back to school.

I doubt it was pizza express though...

HazelBite · 18/11/2019 00:42

It was 2 days before I started a new job, so I was probably trying to stay calm.

Rhododendronite · 18/11/2019 00:54

I was on holiday in Barbados with my dh and 6 month old daughter - we had for some reason thought a long-haul holiday with a baby was a good idea.

Dd caught a stomach bug on the flight over - which dh then caught from her - so it was a vomit-filled week.

I imagine that on the 10 March 2001, I was resolving never to go abroad with a small child again - we didn't leave the UK for 8 years after that.

PointlessUsername · 18/11/2019 00:56

Getting ready for my GCSE's

NetballHoop · 18/11/2019 00:57

House hunting. DS1 had just had his 2nd birthday and were out every weekend looking at houses.

We didn't look at any in Woking though. We were put off by the clientele at the local pizza shop.

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 18/11/2019 01:00

Probably hungover as it was my first birthday spent at university the previous day Grin

TheSandman · 18/11/2019 01:02

Possibly in Scotland - but I couldn't swear to it.

SheSaidNoFuckThat · 18/11/2019 01:03

@NormanSmith was it the one in Cullompton, Devon 😂

HowDoYouLikeThoseSuedeApples · 18/11/2019 03:48

I was packing house moving boxes in the Home Counties : bitching about a solicitor who was less easy to nail down on dates than the Scarlet Pimpernel.

CrowleysBentley · 18/11/2019 03:56

I had a 2 year old and a 9 month old. Whatever I was doing, I was knackered.

sashh · 18/11/2019 04:57

I was in Tramps nightclub. It was really embarrassing this sweaty guy was dancing with a teenager, I thought he was her dad, but, well he wasn't behaving that way.

Everywhere he went he was followed by a couple of guys who looked like they had walked off the set of Men in Black.

NormanSmith · 18/11/2019 06:29

SheSaidNo not Devon but Home Counties!

I have diaries that go back that far and just had to dig them out to have a look! Mind you there is a question mark next to my location so did I actually go or not??

MsTSwift · 18/11/2019 06:33

Just moved from Bristol to London living in a flatshare 3 months in to new job at magic circle law firm. Exciting times! Sadly worked long hours so not able to attend all the shooting weekends I would have liked.
