I have an interview tomorrow for a school reception/admin post. It says there will be two practical assessments. It says I don't need any preparation, but does anyone have any ideas?

Might be an in tray type exercise- watch out for child protection issues/ health and safety as top priority!
What would you do if? Type of questions. Have a good look at policies on the school website.

I would imagine an in-tray type activity- a few documents which you might find in your in tray which you'll need to prioritise... might be a request from the head to post home some letters, an email complaint from an angry parents, a phone message from the local police about car parking outside school (something like that!)

And you might be asked to respond to an email from a parent - it will test your speed, ability to process information and type professionally.

They're both what we do where I work!

I am just looking at the health and safety and estate management for school and wider policies. So that is good.
Good point about in tray. Obvs safeguarding comes before anything else.

I really would like this job. I've not interviewed in 8 years and not worked for 5 due to dc.
