Anyone been in temporary accommodation tell me how long before being offered permanent please? I appreciate it's different for everyone but if I could get an idea of other people's experiences that would be grand x

Depending on which Council area you live in you could get answers ranging from months to 20 yrs!

Wow two years... blimey. Then 3 weeks... guess it is total pot luck then. Thanks for the replies. It just all feels so uncertain and scary

i know what you mean you have to keep waiting and waiting you cant unpack .You just live out of boxes and dont feel settled.

once you get a place you have to move asap
