A million and one things to do. House is a tip, work stuff piling up. Beginning to affect my MH (state of things getting to me, not MH causing things to get in a state iykwim).

First to get out of bed, strip sheets and remake bed.

Anyone joining me or able to provide required kick?

Get dressed first
Everything is easier once dressed.
(Also in bed with a head full of things)

I too have a million and one things to do! But first a Brew while the girls are upstairs still.

Get out of bed, strip it, then have a cup of tea or coffee (or whatever you drink), then get dressed.

I'm up! Bed stripped then shower before putting washing machine on...

I need to get up. The washing needs doing and apparently the machine is DNA coded to me only Hmm.

Washer first; it can be busy for you while you shower!!

NoClueWithStyle · 17/11/2019 10:10

I'm in! Been awake for 2hrs on MN and haven't even brushed my teeth or had a cuppa.

List:
Laundry
Ironing
Work-complete stuff that needs to be be done before the new week starts, at least 4 hrs work.
Meal plan
Dinner
Get a grip on the growing paper pile and sort diary and to-do list from that
Motivate kids to move, homework, music practice etc
Cook a nice roast dinner and engage in a meaningful way with the kids.
Phone Mum-never a quick call
At least think about getting organised for Christmas, even if it's only a list of people I need to buy for.
Chill put at some point today.

Umm...cuppa tea first tho eh? Brew

I’ll join you! Also done not much so far - have put a wash on and that’s about it. Going to have my second coffee of the day and then start functioning - shower, dress, teeth brush. Need to catch up on the laundry mountain, tidy the house (it’s not terrible but there’s just little random bits everywhere that need to go back to/find homes), completely clear the dining table, catch up on work paperwork, prep/plan for work next week, do a food shop, and I suppose interact with the children & DH at some point Grin

You can do it! I've been procrastinating (aka sitting on sofa with tea and biscuits) since Fri but this morning I forced myself to crack on with things...so far I've cleaned out the fridge, the cutlery drawer and the booze cabinet, and thrown lots of stuff out. It feels good! I've bribed myself with no coffee or toast until I've finished xyz and hunger is a great motivator, just one cupboard to go

egontoste · 17/11/2019 10:53

Why am I sitting here reading this when I have so much to do?

Confused
lucysmam · 17/11/2019 10:53

I'm dressed, have put laundry away and brought the ironing downstairs with me. Have also emptied my underwear into a bag so I can sort out what I wear back into my drawer, as I wear it (does that make sense?). I have loads but don't wear a lot of it so hopefully this will give me some drawer space.

I'm about to crack on with a Christmas cake and then tidy the kitchen while it cooks.
