I'm adopting a cat through a charity. The cat is now at his original home, I went to visit last week and the owners were chuffed that I could take him.
The charity effects the transfer themselves--I guess to ensure vaccinations and to ensure that they get my donation!
So now we have two failed transfers. We set it all up, I arrange to be home, and then the charity person calls to cancel. She says it's because the owner suddenly had to work. I'm a bit like, "Okay, a friend or neighbour could have just met charity worker at home and let them in to get cat?"
And now there's a problem with the vaccination?
This is all very strange--should I just assume original owner changed her mind?
