I like the new JL one today, it's cute.

But my absolute fave is the JL one from 2011. It was the year DS2 was born and it still makes me well up Grin

The Mr Kipling one that was so complained about I think it was only shown once - funny as!

Freddiemercuarysmoustache · 14/11/2019 23:48

Holidays are coming with the cola advert defonatly

InglouriousBasterd · 14/11/2019 23:57

Ahhh DD is also a 2010 baby so the JL advert that year had me in floods of tears on a regular basis Grin

That Polish advert has just had the same effect!

ChilliMum · 15/11/2019 12:58

I am a sucker for a good christmas advert but this German one gets me every time...

spiderlight · 15/11/2019 13:09

This one gets me every time:

I love the new Argos one as well though.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 15/11/2019 13:12

The WWI Sainsbury's one. Makes me cry every time. Mind you I cried at the last Ssinsburys ad celebrating their anniversary so I'm officially ridiculous!

lauryloo · 15/11/2019 13:16

The Sainsbury's mog one from a few years ago

The JL one this year due nothing for me :(

Honeyroar · 15/11/2019 13:17

That polish one is gorgeous. I've always loved the ww1 one. This year I like the Argos one best so far.

What was this one , cannot remember ?

wendz86 · 15/11/2019 16:17

Mine was the 2011 john lewis advert with the little boy giving his parents presents. I had a baby that year so def think you are more sentimental when you have a little one!

wendz86 · 15/11/2019 16:18

Was the mr kipling one the nativity play where she gave birth on stage?

orangeteal · 15/11/2019 16:18

The Nicholas Lindhurst WH Smith adverts!

nancy75 · 15/11/2019 16:22

Buster the bouncing boxer dog.
I had a boxer just like buster, he would have lived a trampoline! It made me cry missing my boxer but made me laugh because it was so true of what those dogs are like.

ChatNicknameAlreadyInUse · 15/11/2019 16:22

The Long Wait (John Lewis) - 2011. Makes me well up every single time.

ChatNicknameAlreadyInUse · 15/11/2019 16:26

In fact I'm sure this year's John Lewis ad (cute little Edgar and Ava) is by the same team that made the 2011 one. I read it somewhere I think Confused

exiledfromcornwall · 15/11/2019 16:26

I loathe Christmas adverts with a passion (not a fan of Christmas for various reasons). However, the one that sticks out is the one with the cute cat frolicking in the snow (Whiskas I think) culminating in snow tumbling onto his head, to the tune of "Let It Snow".

BarbarAnna · 15/11/2019 16:30

Definitely Woolworths!

‘Join us on our Christmas Shopping Spree!’

ToTheRegimentIWishIWasThere · 15/11/2019 19:22

Buster the boxer. My DS was a tiny newborn and I cried every time I saw it Grin did love too Moz though.

Shalom23 · 15/11/2019 20:12

To see them all go to Literacy She'd, Christmas ads. Sorry can't post link. It's a teaching resource website, free and has all the Christmas ads.

Shalom23 · 15/11/2019 20:12

Literacy Shed.

Faez · 15/11/2019 20:14

JL snowman one, Frankie goes to Hollywood.

user1493494961 · 15/11/2019 21:13

Definitely the Sainsbury 's Christmas truce.

bohemia14 · 15/11/2019 21:19

The John Lewis one about the boy with the penguin. Even now I only have to hear the music and I well up.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/11/2019 00:08

The JL Snowman one , the look on his little face when he's crouched scared at the edge of the motorway Sad (Yes I know it's not real ) Xmas Grin

And the Waitrose one with the robin where he gets washed onto the deck of the trawler and the burly fisherman scoops him up in a Force 10 gale and puts him in a little box to recover Xmas Sad Ahhhhh

FreeBedForFlys · 16/11/2019 00:11

Monty the penguin.

Genuinely burst into tears when I saw it for the first time and realised they were soft toys
