Haven’t seen another thread on this. The subhuman who crushed this little boy to death has been sentenced to just 7 years in prison. So, he’ll be out in about 4.

There are no words.

Prison guards won't protect him inside I bet....

SaggySadSack · 14/11/2019 20:51

It knocked me sick knowing that little boy cried out for his mummy as he was dying and she told him to 'shut up'. I can't stop thinking about it.

Whether or not that excuse for a human intended to kill him, he certainly intended to hurt him and then took huge premeditated steps to cover up his actions. Seven years is a joke. He'll be out in half that - the same length of time the little boy lived for.

The maximum sentence for manslaughter in the UK is life - why didn't he get that?

CherryPlum · 14/11/2019 21:01

This is one of those cases which leave me so utterly shocked at how sick humans can be. It could go round and round in my head, it's just incomprehensible to think of any parent not stepping in to rescue their child (or any child) visibly in distress. How can a person be that empty of feeling. What the hell leads somone to dismiss a child who is in pain or fear.

Fucked up people in this world.

The maximum space in the footwell was 11.8in (30cm), and at the touch of a button that could be reduced to 3.7in (9.5cm)

That's the size of the length my forearm to the length of my palm..
Poor little boy , it would've been like someone stamping on him, the force of that crush injury .
The CCTV of him running along, the boyfriend on his phone , him and the mother not even slowing their pace .

The car was overcrowded , two children not in seats .

It beggars belief,

prettythepig · 14/11/2019 21:48

Winterdaysarehere I hope the prison guards don't protect him. Absolute vile waste of oxygen. Poor little boy

I was disgusted when I heard this earlier. What is going on with the UK justice system? How can it be that the most despicable members of society get such short sentences for crimes like rape and murder? It’s no punishment. He will be out in 3-4 years, and go on to abuse more innocents.

Solongtoshort · 14/11/2019 21:55

I have just been reading about a fraud case which the man got 21 years for stealing money. Now l know fraud is still a crime and there were victims but l don’t understand how the taking of a life weather it be murder or manslaughter should Have such small sentences.

missyB1 · 14/11/2019 21:58

The judicial system has always valued money and goods over human life - says a lot about us as a society.

PalB123 · 20/11/2019 19:55

You can appeal submit an appeal here if you feel a sentence has been too lenient.

I know I will be for this horrendous crime.

Sometimes you do just think 'the law's an ass'. This is one such case, and the other currently is where parole has been recommended while the murderer is still refusing to say where the body of his victim is. Justice has to be done and also SEEN to be done.

NeverGotMyPuppy · 23/11/2019 14:56

I have requested that his sentence be reviewed. This case has absolutely haunted me.
