Career change: HR?

So all the dcs are at school now.

I was working as a freelance project manager for direct marketing campaigns but I'm not particularly interested in that anymore.

Time to retrain. At 48, do you reckon I'm too old to pursue work in HR?

And how would I start - a degree? A shorter course?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think HR is one of the most understood roles in organisations!

What kind of HR do you want to do? That will determine the path to get there.
