Liver problems

I had some blood tests done at the GP yesterday, and they rang me yesterday evening to ask me to come in for an examination and more blood tests this morning. They're worried about my liver, they said not to drink alcohol (I don't) or take paracetamol in the mean time, and asked if I had any bleeding (e.g. gums).

I'm quite worried, I'm not googling. I'm supposed to be going away tomorrow. I wish I'd asked what the results were (i.e. how out they were).

Upondown following as this has happened to my son his liver enzymes were hugely elevated and he had further blood tests which were inconclusive. He is fit and well just struggles to loose weight despite eating very healthily.
Fingers crossed 🤞 you're issues are easy to fix.

Thanks coffeeandtv I'm sorry your son's tests were inconclusive.

Dodgy liver function seems to run in my family. Try not to worry too much, a lot of it can be quite livable with the right life adjustments. If it helps to know, my uncle was told he had two years left due to cirrhosis (he drank crazy lots). This was about 10 years ago, he quit drinking overnight and I am now convinced he's immortal ;)

Thanks Damntheman. As I'm not overtly unwell, they're sending me for an urgent scan rather than hospital today, phew.
